This hard backed picture book is colourfully illustrated all the way through and is suitable for reading ages of 6-8 years.

It is a story about Allan who has a good idea for writing a book about a crocodile, but whenever he tries to continue with the book, he keeps getting interrupted. The manuscript gets soaked in tea and then nibbled by snails. Instead of a crocodile the drawing becomes a hippo.

Writing books is such good fun but who knew so many things could go wrong? Even when the book goes off to the printers - you guessed it - there's MORE trouble. Pages in French and Chinese get muddled with the English and somehow the hippos and dinosaurs get mixed up with them too!
